Unlike emergency care, which addresses life-threatening conditions, urgent care focuses on issues that require timely treatment but don’t pose an immediate danger to your pet’s life. If your pet is experiencing discomfort or unusual symptoms, urgent care can help get them back on track quickly.

Emergency care is a medical treatment for pets experiencing life-threatening conditions requiring immediate, intensive intervention. This includes severe trauma, major bleeding, difficulty breathing, poisoning, or other critical issues that could endanger your pet’s life. While Pet Care Plus offers urgent care for non-life-threatening issues, we do not provide emergency care for life-threatening conditions. In these cases, taking your pet to a 24-hour emergency hospital equipped to handle critical situations is essential. Emergency care hospitals are staffed and prepared to provide the immediate, life-saving treatment your pet may need.

We are open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

While we accept walk-ins, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment to minimize wait times and ensure we can give your pet the attention they need.

Because we like to be open during primary veterinary hours so if your pets veterinarian is unavailable they can refer you right to us.

We work with local veterinarians as a referral clinic providing only services their clients need on a same-day basis.

We are a small, privately owned business. We originally opened for 24-hour monitoring but added urgent care due to the need for these services in our community. We are continuing to grow our business and services. Once we have this service, we will be able to better serve our community.
